Staufen train station is just a few steps away from the hotel – simply arrive, get out and stroll to us.
Arrival by car
You can drive right up to the door to unload. If you give us your license plate number in advance, your parking card will be waiting for you in your room. Parking is then free for you in P1+2 (Alfred-Schladerer-Platz), P4 (Bonnevilleplatz), P11 (Am Weinbrunnen) or P15 (Alte Post).
Bike garage
From April to September you can park your bike safely and free of charge in our bike garage (in the garden in front of the house). Just let us know when you book or via the guest platform. Access: your room card. (And psst: there are great bike tours in Staufen & the surrounding area 🚲❤️)
Check-in / Check-out
We have self-check-in – no classic reception. You will receive your door code in advance by email. You can check in from 3 pm. Please check out by 10 a.m. so that we can make it nice again for the next guests.
Breakfast
From 8-11 am in our large parlor: Baskets from our friends at Café Schwarzwaldschön, fresh bread rolls from the bakery next door, fragrant coffee and a cozy fireside atmosphere.
Dogs
We love it! For €15 per day, you can stay overnight, enjoy the dog bar and treats for your four-legged friend.
WLAN
Free of charge and everywhere. Our parlor is ideal for working after breakfast.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
When you arrive, we’ll give you the KONUS card – so you can travel by bus and train in the region for free during your stay.

We are in the middle of the old town of Staufen. With a license plate in advance you can park for free: – P1+P2 Alfred-Schladerer-Platz (directly next to us) – P4 Bonnevilleplatz (across the stream) – P11 Am Weinbrunnen – P15 Old Post Office
Cancellations
Please only in writing. The conditions depend on your rate – check your confirmation or write to us briefly.
Room cleaning
Every 3 days free of charge. If you want it more often, let us know – possible for a small surcharge.
